My husband and I are getting a tax refund this year from both State and Federal. We usually do, and we tend to get excited about it. However, if you think about it, the refund is actually just giving us our money back because they took too much out during the year. Therefore, instead of letting us keep our money as we earn it and need it, they give it back at the end of the year. Personally, I would rather have my money weekly then get it back in one lump sum at the end of the year. What about you?

Ha! We use our damn refunds to help pay for our school taxes. So Uncle Sam seems to get it one way or another:(
I consider my twisted way of saving for my car insurance.
