Wheee!

It has been such a roller coaster ride with our daughter this year. First, she is doing really well, then she is struggling, then they think she is severely ADHD, then if she did not have issues with her handwriting, she would be fine. Then the final straw, she came home from school on Friday with a letter from the school stating that her teacher has recommended she be tested for ALP. That stands for accelerated learning program for gifted children.

What’s up with that? She’s smart, she’s not, she’s really not, she really is. I now think my husband may have been right all along and she is just really bored in class.

Anyway, we signed the permission slip to have her tested so we should know by the end of the year if she is going to be following her brother’s example.
